All Time Low and Julie Tippex present...
Born in Cambridge and raised in the Fens, Richard Youngs began making music at the start of the 1970s. His early work centred on the family piano. When this was sold in the late 70s, however, the classical guitar and cassette recorder became his instruments of choice, along with anything at hand that made a sound. From then on he has played any number of roles with bands such as Astral Social Club, Concrete Hedge, No Deserts, Jandek and Future Pilot A.K.A. Recent collaborative work with Andrew Paine, Luke Fowler, Heatsick and John Clyde-Evans also show him as a highly social musician. Tonight, Richard collaborates with longtime friend Damon Krukowski.

DAMON & NAOMI
Damon & Naomi started playing music together in the band Galaxie 500. As a duo, they recorded for Sub Pop for many years before founding their own label, 20/20/20. Their latest release is 2011's False Beats and True Hearts.
In addition to their work as musicians, Damon Krukowski and Naomi Yang are the publishers of Exact Change, a small press dedicated to avant-garde literature and artists' writings. Individually, Damon is a writer (his most recent book is Afterimage, published by Ugly Duckling Presse in 2011), and Naomi is a visual artist (photography, video, and graphic design). Naomi's design of a centenary LP box set for the John Cage Trust was recently nominated for a Grammy. And her recent music videos for artists such as Julia Holter, Meg Baird, and Neutral Milk Hotel are widely available online.
Damon & Naomi are currently working on a project utilizing Naomi's video work in conjunction with their music. They hope to debut a portion of that at Cafe Oto.
