The Post Quartet is a new and
extremely ambitious ensemble that are currently making waves; it is a group that fills an important gap in current string quartet activity: namely the willingness to tackle experimental and indeterminate music of the present and recent past. They have put together a lively programme for their Cafe Oto recital which includes pieces by Christian Wolff, Cornelius Cardew's String Trio, John Cage's 'String Quartet in Four Parts', and works by John Lely, Tim Parkinson, Tom Johnson and others.
Please note: the concert will start prompt at 8pm
