Triptych: The Music of Eliane Radigue - Launch Event

No Longer Available

Sound and Music’s Triptych festival is the first major retrospective of Eliane Radigue’s work to take place in the UK and one of the largest events ever dedicated solely to the work of this celebrated guru of drone and sonic minimalism.

To celebrate the launch of the festival Emmanuel Holterbach will give a free talk on Eliane Radigue’s work. Holterbach is Radigue’s assistant and an acknowledged expert on her music. He is currently preparing a biography of the artist, assisting with the ongoing programme of her archival releases and has been closely involved in the curation of the Triptych festival.

Using rarely heard audio examples from Radigue’s personal archive he’ll explore the major periods of the composer’s output and the context and reception of her work.

Please see The Sound and Music website for full details of the Triptych festival
