Cafe OTO opened in April 2008 with the aim of providing a home for creative new music that exists outside of the mainstream. Cafe OTO is comprised of one large cafe/performance space open during the day as a cafe and hosting an evening programme of adventurous live music almost seven nights a week.

Can I buy advance tickets in person?
Sorry, but in order to keep our costs down, we only sell advance tickets online.

What time does the concert start?
The music usually starts about 45 minutes after doors open.

The website says X is sold out. Is that really true?
Yes. We do not usually reserve tickets for sale on the door, so if we've marked it as sold out on the website then it is definitely sold out.

We Got Tickets says 'Contact Venue' - What does that mean?
We Got Tickets take an event offsale at 6pm on the day of the concert. If it doesn't say that it's sold out on the website then there is a very good chance that tickets will be available on the door.

Is it OK for me to record/film/take pictures etc?
Generally, photos without flash are fine. Please check with us first before filming or recording any concerts here so we can get the musicians/performers' approval. Thanks!

We have newly upgraded FREE WI-FI.

Accessibility

The venue has step-free access and a wheelchair accessible toilet. We also offer '2 for 1' tickets for carers attending with disabled customers. Email john@cafeoto.co.uk for reservation information.

Soundchecks / Opening

When there is an evening event we close the cafe at 5:30pm for soundcheck and re-open at 8pm for concerts. For evenings where there is no event we will stay open as a bar. Entry is free for those nights.

NB: Live performances usually start between 30-45 minutes after the doors open.

All concert bookings at Cafe OTO are handled by OTO Projects.
