Jack Rose passed away suddenly at home in Philadelphia on December 5.
He was widely regarded as the most profound exponent of acoustic guitar playing of his generation.
He was also loved and admired by the great many people who came to know him through his live performances in the US and Europe.
This concert is an occasion for friends of Jack and lovers of his music to remember and celebrate him.
It is also a chance to celebrate Jack's ongoing influence with the release of his album 'Luck In The Valley' on Thrill Jockey.
