Tonight Tony Marsh will be playing a solo set first and will be joined by Shabaka Hutchings and Guillaume Viltard.
Tony Marsh is a regular player on the London improvising scene who, according to The Guardian's Richard Williams has a: "marvelous ability to erase the boundary between time
and no-time" and "an exquisite feeling for percussive texture".
Tony regularly plays with Evan Parker, John Edwards, Paul Dunmall, Nick Stevens, The London Improvisers Orchestra and many others. Tony has recently played with Peter Brotzmann at café OTO in January 2010.

Shabaka Hutchings plays tenor sax,bass clarinet, clarinet. Grew up in Barbados- Studied clarinet at the Guildhall School of Music.Leads the trio ZED-U , they have released their first cd ‘ Night Time on the Middle Passage’ on the Babel label. He has also performed with Jazz Warriors , LIO , The Heights , Louis Moholo, Charlie Hadens Liberation Orchestra as well as Gary Crosbys Nu Troop and Red Snapper.
‘Shabaka Hutchins is a veritable cauldron of creativity, he assailed the audience with his gloriously uncompromising horn play. An emerging Brit-jazz star if ever there was one! ( Jazzwise )
